The department of dermatology
is headed by Prof. Ijaz Hussain. The department has a 10
bedded in patient facility and robust outpatient cover for
therapeutic and cosmetic procedures. Daily OPD caters to
an average of 700-800 patients per week. Facilities which
are available are:

Electrocautery for warts

Cryotherapy

Mole removal

Scraping of fungus and mites

Smear for LD bodies

Skin biopsy

Intra-lesional injections
-
Slit skin smears for leprosy
The department is recognized
by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan for
MCPS, FCPS and MD Dermatology.
